PhotoIndica – Telling tales with pixels and grain

This past week I got a pleasant surprise in the form of a package from my parents who still live in India. The box contained some traditional south Indian dresses for Mira who will be turning 1 in a few weeks. We couldn’t wait to have her wear some of the dresses and I couldn’t wait to take some really cool portraits of her. Here are the photos from the photo shoot.

Lens: 120mm S-Planar
Film: Fuji NPH400 rated at iso100
Exposure: 1/125s at f11
Light: Bowen Strobe + Softbox set to 1/2 power, reflector to fill in shadows.
